An exciting, industrial minimal techno duo who use ambient and found sounds to explore accidental grooves and create gritty spatial soundscapes. Combining this with aggressive percussion, atmospheric synths and motoric bass lines to create the signature Buhl / Daughters sound.
Fascinated with rhythm and texture, the pair's sound is heavily influenced by the production techniques associated with Electro-Acoustic Composition, the music has a dark, cinematic minimalism, allowing the rhythms within the track to draw the listeners in.
As their live showcase continues to develop alongside their forthcoming releases, Buhl / Daughters continuously explore the world of improvisation, through manipulation of live sounds using an abundance of hardware, constantly altering arrangements, creating new loops on the fly. With a steady heartbeat of a kick drum lending their music perfectly to the club environment adding to the relentless, deep and heavy dancefloor style.
