Mausoleums are Simeon Soden (synths / programming) Elliot Reeves (vocal / synths), a dark electronic two piece influenced by 80s minimal wave, witch house and Industrial. Combining expansive synths, drum machines and reverb laden, distorted vocals to create a haunting industrial soundscape, Mausoleums capture the brooding intensity of Carpenter’s films, played out in minimalist repetition. Mausoleums perform backed by live video projection created using VCRs, horror films and mangled games consoles. Notable performances include NARC. Fest and supporting Blanck Mass. Key influences include Salem, Crystal Castles, New Order, Martin Dupont, Psychic Rites as well as vintage and analogue hardware. Mausoleums will be releasing their new EP INTO THE GYRE on Kaneda Records at this year's Northern Electric Festival
